Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The contact had just finished receiving a recall repair from the dealer for the drivers side air bag recall and two weeks later, the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair. The dealer (billingsley Ford Inc.,3804 w broadway St, ardmore, ok 73401, (580) 226-3300), did not give a specific date for when the part would become available. The manufacturer was contacted and could not provide an estimated date for when the contacts vehicle would receive the recall repair. The interim recall notice was sent mid July of 2016 and the remedy/parts had still been unavailable. The contact was not experiencing a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Both the driver and front passenger airbags have been recalled. The driver's side was replaced, but the passenger side is apparently still not available. It has been several years now since the recall letter I received from Ford, but they still continue to tell me that the part is not available.it is both frustrating to me, and dangerous for any passenger that I have in my vehicle. I simply want to have that faulty airbag replaced.

Ford dealerships are refusing to works on my 3 recalls. I have tried 3 times over the past 3 years and keep getting the same excuse. "we dont have the parts, and dont know when we will get them." Ford of orange (California). They refuse to take my name down or contact me when they do have the parts. They aren't the only dealership in the area either. Please follow-up to make sure that they are not turning down customers for the sake of saving money.

All they say is that the parts are not available and that they will call when the become available. There has not been an accident yet.

I have a recall on my 2007 Ford Mustang shelby GT, for airbags. Ford does not have a solution for the recall. I think it is a very dangerous situation driving around with recall airbags putting the driver and passengers in a very compromised situation. They are aware of the danger because they themselves would not except a trade-in my vehicle (2007 Ford Mustang shelby GT ) because Ford does not except vehicle with open recalls. Even if it's their own product.

I was sold a used 2007 Ford Mustang GT at the end of 2016. The dealer told me there was a recall, but said it was not an important one. It turns out the recall is a takata airbag. I do not feel safe driving the vehicle, the dealership that sold me the vehicle will not return my calls and I no longer want to drive the vehicle.

Takata recall as I was driving, I made a complete stop to prevent an accident and the driver airbag deployed and raptured as well. Although no serious injuries happened, it should have not raptured. I tried calling about the recall but every time I called, there was no parts available to fix the problem.
