Ok so here is the story. I have a 2008 Base V6 Mustang w/ a manual transmission. From the very beginning this thing was acting up but barely noticeable at first.
About 10 months ago from when i'm writing this review, the transmission started making loud banging noises when put into gear. (Just so you know, I drive this car like an old man in a Prius.) I took it in to get looked at numerous times, they said it was normal and that was that. Noises persisted and after a while got progressively worse. It was becoming louder and louder. Now if you hear it, its like a loud slam when you engage gear. But here is the kicker. Ever since this problem started, the gears wouldn't go in anymore. Getting it into reverse was something similar to a test of strength at a rigged circus game. Long story short the problem persists, the car isn't under warranty anymore and i'm too broke to pay for the fix myself which apparently Ford dealerships cannot diagnose the problem without taking the thing apart which is a very nice amount of cash.
Screw this stupid transmission, and i'm seriously doubting myself buying another Ford again.
