The last two Mustangs I purchased (both were new cars) developed electrical issues after the warranty expired. My current 2011 Mustang has had numerous electrical issues within the cabin of the car. In addition to the electrical issues, the hood developed problems with the paint such as bubbling, peeling and rusting. My frustration with Ford grows more intense each time the air-conditioner, along with numerous other devices associated with the dashboard, quits operating and the windows will not function. I often find myself encountering this issue on a ninety plus degree day. The electrical issue can occur when moving or at a complete stop. There is no pattern to when it happens, or which electrical items will quit functioning. It does happen more often with warmer temperatures and the air-conditioner is in use. However, it also occurs when the air-conditioner is not in use.

I have a 2011 Mustang that I keep covered and clean always. This month the paint on the front edge of the hood started bubbling. I took it to my local Ford dealership and was told that they have known about this problem for years and have done nothing and would do nothing to fix it. They told me to call Ford. I called Ford and they told me to take it to the dealership and write a letter of complaint to Ford. Nothing is resolved. If there is a class action lawsuit on this matter, please add my name to the list of customers who have been wronged. I have always owned Ford but will never purchase another if they do not make this right.

Corrosion issues under the paint on the hood of my Mustang, 18050 mile, garage kept. Ford has had so many problems with corrosion issues under the paint on so many vehicles. Someone needs to address this for the consumer. Out of warranty is the only answer you get from Ford. The have known about this since 2004, still no results for the owners. You would be a [xxx] fool to buy one of the new F-150's due to steel to aluminum contact corrosion. It is going to happen, mark these words. Help the consumer protect themselves from Ford, just take the time to review peoples issues by searching "Ford corrosion issues" on the net! make America great by standing up to them for the consumer please parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I noticed a year and a half ago the paint on the hood was bubbling up so I went to 2 dealerships and asked what can be done. Both said nothing. It has to rust before something can be done. Now, half of the front of the hood's paint has bubbled up and peeled off. This cheap paint issue should be a recall for Ford.

I was recently in a wreck and the airbags deployed. My car is stuck at the body shop because they can not get an airbag for it. My insurance on my rental car will be up in 2 weeks, the car would have been fixed already it just had minor front end damage and the windshield crack due to the airbag and the airbag injured my right arm. It never should deployed in the first place the impact was not even that severe. I have contacted Ford multiple times and they never get back with me this is beginning to get very frustrating. My car is easily repairable but its just setting there because of no airbag. Some help in this matter would be appreciated thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

There is bubbling paint on the aluminum hood of my car. The corrosion and blistering is an ongoing problem that Ford needs to address. The engineering department should step up to the plate. This is no fault of mine. Garaged and only 32,500 miles. Small amounts of bubbling has been present for a while, and recently spread to a larger area. The only remedy is to replace the hood.

Mustang 2011 hood edge has blistering paint in several places. Eclectic drivers side car seat stopped working, unable to adjust to a correct position, which affects driving safely, puerile low profile tires became weathered and cracked to the point of being unsafe to drive at 24,000 miles, I had to replace all 4 bad tires. I had a flat tire due to cracks in my tires and was informed they were unsafe for driving. I feel ripped off that my car feels unsafe to drive and is also now rusting. I'm attaching only one photo of a tire side since I'm still looking for my other photos with the weather rotting and huge cracks.

There were many incidents with my Mustang 5.0 but this was the most significant. The problem is as I found out two years later is that the width of the oem tires and wheels are too narrow for the weight and power of this vehicle. I was driving on el camino real and I had to stop suddenly because a car came on the road unexpectedly and the driver in front of me hit the brakes and so I did but my car just kept sliding forward, it lost grip with the asphalt completely. I experienced similar situations many times when taking turns where my rear would spin around the front which renders the car out of control swinging left and right in both lanes on the road. If its wet out I wouldn't even push the accelerator much because it just causes the rear wheels to spin. I just changed my back tires to a wider size and the problems are greatly diminished or gone. I am surprised that all the engineers and test drivers from Ford would let such a great car drive like santa's sled.

Car has a long crank time, before the engine starts. Causing ware on starter and flywheel making a noisy start. The hood has paint bubbles on the front right side and now at 70K miles needs a repaint. Car would stall at the stop light, or would not go when the light turned green or making a U-turn. Intermittently check engine light would come on for a cam position sensor. Car at 70K miles, wont pass an emission inspection. Car value, with known paint problem is decreased. Dealer wants $400 to fix hood spot another $200 to look at transmission, $110 to look at the cam sensor issue. My last new Ford!
