Mustang Coupe 3.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 43,386 miles

Lost all acceleration with no warning. Pulled over and restarted; happened more and more frequently. Drove to purchasing dealer(purchased new January 2011). They diagnosed the car with a bad throttle body. I paid $700. to have it replaced. I checked my power train 60,000 mile warranty and sure enough throttle body was left off the list of covered components. I contacted Ford headquarters in Michigan to plead my case. After several conversations with headquarters it was agreed to reimburse me $300. I picked up the check for $300 the next day at the dealership. now the vehicle has 91,500 miles(10/15/2016), no other problems with the vehicle .The repair was done 7/30/13 with 43,386 miles on it.
