I went to get a diagnostic in my car at the Ford dealership and they told me they had a recall on the air bag I paid for the diagnostic and they did the recall on my car then time passed and my air bag light came on and hasn't gone away ever since also I had my electrical power rack and steering changed months later from the previous visit! and my stability control lights are on I literally have the air bag, stability control, and engine light on ! I don't get it I do oil change on time I change my brakes I keep my car well maintained and keeps getting worser ! I almost had a accident lost control of the car and spun out on the highway thank god I did not crash or caused damages to the car it was a very scary experience I have ever had I could of died or been hurt !

Driving the vehicle in a straight line under dry conditions at about a constant 30 mph, the car started pulsing the front corner brakes. At the same time, the vehicles traction control light was coming on and off. I was not applying the brakes at the time. It seems as though the car's traction control system thought my tires were spinning, but that was not the case. I stopped and inspected my front wheel and found no issues with the tire or its alignment or fender clearance. After restarting the car, the problem stopped. I'm concerned that if this problem persists the car could inadvertently brake itself in heavy traffic and cause an accident.

Brand new 2012 Mustang does not have a screen that prevents debris (leaves, bugs, etc) from going down the A/C intake. When the debris clogs up the A/C water drain it will back up and get into a junction box and corrode plugs that are directly connected to the ABS, adv trac control etc, . this disables or tricks the ABS syst a safety feature that controls your brakes. For example if you are going down the interstate at 75 mph and apply the brakes hard the ABS syst is disabled or thinks one brake is locked up and the car jumps all over the place, lose control of the car and wreck or kill someone in the process.....all because a major manufacture did not place simple door screen over the intake to keep debris out of the A/C intake and clog a hole.....

Upon take off from a red light the car jerked and seem to lose power and while accelerating only the RPM needle would go up but the car would not go. Took the car to the dealer and they said they could not fix it as I could not duplicate the problem. It is now 2 months later and the same issue occurred only this time the wrench light came on along with other dash indicator lights. I had the car towed to the dealer and now that it is no longer under warranty the service man says over the phone " I think I know what the problem is" really I have had my car in your dealership twice for the same issue and now it is there again. It happens to be the electronic throttle control in which Ford has been aware of for years and there were some recalls for this issue but I did not receive one. I contacted Ford and spoke to a rep. And she said they could not help with this issue.

Driving on highway as I was exiting the car powersteering gave out and was left with no manubility. Was able to power thru and get to the dealer right at the corner of the exit. Dealer said it did part was not covered under power train warranty because technically it does not make the car move. But with out it you can't move the car no possible steering. Dealer said they had the part in stock due to other 2012 Mustangs with same problem also found out that the Focus and F150 have had the same problems and have been called back.

The 2012 Mustang is equipped with an system called advanctrac. It is an electronic stability control system that works in coordination with the electronic assisted power steering. This morning while driving my car totally shut down nose dived and turned right back on. When it returned to power the advanctrac system had totally shut. The wheel was impossible to turn due to the electronic system shutting down. Had this been in a corner at speed on a highway I would have certainly left the road. Upon investigating my car I found a blown 100amp fuse by my battery. This is extremely dangerous. All anyone needs to do is hit the internet and see the number of people that have had this exact issue with this car. Be it from the fuse or something else this shutdown is frequent. In lieu of recent issues with GM I cannot believe that Ford is ignoring this. This can and could be a very dangerous situation for anyone. I contacted Ford and the dealer today and they blew me off so now I am contacting you. Hopefully I am not the only one that has had this issue.

I turned right at traffic signal into a merge lane and accelerated to approximately 45 mph and merged left. At this point the car started jerking and making a loud noise. I placed my foot on the brake petal and could feel the brakes being activated, the car lost power and continued the jerking for approximately 200 yard. Other cars behind me began blowing their horns. I do believe some of the dash light came on but at the time I was concerned about staying on the road and was not looking too closely at the dash. The second incidence was on Jan. 16, 2014. All this was reported to the Ford dealer. They were unable to duplicate the incident and offered no help.

I was driving my 2012 Ford Mustang V6 premium on the morning of 10\21\2013 when for the 4th time the advance traction control malfunctioned. When it malfunctioned the traction control light started to flash and I was unable to steer my car, blower on my air conditioner came on by its self full blast. While I was trying to get control of the vehicle a eighteen wheeler had to go off the interstate into the grass to keep from running my car over! this is not the first time this has happened it has been in the shop 3 other times starting at about 13000 miles. The problem is only getting worse!! I carried it to the shop when it first started having this problem they told me then that the control module was under national back order at it was going to be 6 to 8 weeks before they would have to part in for my car. The dealer was told by tech support to replace my 2012 part with a 2013 part"?" they did that even though the part number was different. The next time I carried the car in the shop for the traction control they keep my car and did nothing.the third time I carried it to the shop for the same thing the tech connected to the car to the computer the alternator sent crazy waves to the electrical system and it messed up the battery they had to change the alternator and the battery. And even with everything they have done the car is still unsafe to drive and they tell me to take the car and when it happens again they will check it again. Now I am stuck with a car that is going to get someone hurt or worse someone killed!!! please help!!!

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving 50 mph, the traction control engaged independently. The contact stated that the front end of the vehicle would bounce erratically. The contact also stated that when the failure occurred, the vehicle would stop accelerating and independently brake. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection where they stated that they could not diagnose the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 3,000.

It was a clear and warm day in southern California. Roads had no dirt, water, debris, etc..I was driving about 35-40 and had just gone in to 4th gear. My 2012 V6 Mustang suddenly swerved to the left really hard forcing me in to the left lane and almost in to another vehicle. Then to the right which almost made me lose control. Felt like each tire was locking up independently. The traction control light was flashing. Felt like I got a flat and that my car was braking all by itself. I tried to throttle up a second later to get out of traffic and it had no response. I could not accelerate when pulling over I hit the brakes and they sounded like metal on metal, felt rough and like the ABS was engaging. Once stopped I checked the tires and all were fine. I turned off the engine and waited a second. Turned it back on and all seems fine. My nephew lost control of his six speed 2012 Mustang while driving on mountain road and was killed. He was downshifting into left corner or road then road turns right uphill (like an "S" shape). Perhaps the power train had an issue.?

While driving on a dry, straight stretch of road at 50mph, the traction control/stability control system kicked in and started slowing the vehicle for no apparent reason. The system pulsed the brakes for about 1/4 mile, then the system returned to normal. Dash lights indicated traction control was kicking on. This has occurred on three separate occasions.
