Exhaust fumes are so bad on hard acceleration that it will physically make you sick and will set off a carbon monoxide detector. Have taken car to dealer and they say no recalls on problem, so they wont do anything until the computer throws a code. Called Ford customer services and they basically tell you to screw off. The car is great if you never get over 1500 RPM, no fumes, BUT IF I HAD WANTED A YUGO I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE!!! Never buy another ford --my Lincoln town car and Ford truck has cost me thousands on window regulators and switches. Im waiting on my Ford truck 2004 (cost over $40000)to drop a plug or a cam phaser - 5.4 engines were bad from 2004 to 2010.
If I don`t get this problem resolved soon- join us in a class action suit - there are many others out there on different Ford and Mustang forums with the same problem and Ford refuses to acknowledge.
