Ford Delivered 2015 Mustang Convertibles without protective Tonneau Covers for large holes created when convertible top is down. OEM part was not correct and Ford decided to deliver cars, then find another manufacturer and deliver these parts to the customer later on. Every month they extend the delivery and now I have waited four months, no Tonneau covers have been delivered. The latest extension date that they have given me is May. Without the Tonneau covers dirt and debris can get into the large holes on the top of the car. When you look down at the holes all of the convertible arms are exposed. Basically there is no protection of the convertibles key parts while the car is being driven with the top down.
Funny, I am starting to see a few new models around town with the covers inserted. Is Ford selling the newest made models with the covers and making customers who bought the new car months ago wait until it can get enough Tonneau covers to fill the backlog???
