turbo turbo

Bought the car second hand in Nov 2023, in June 2024 after service, the engine light came on. Returned to dealership and they tightened a cap, engine light off. Two weeks later engine light on again. I was interstate so on my return in December car made loud noise and black smoke out of exhaust. Took to mechanic and replaced the intercooler system. A week later engine light back on, took back to dealership mechanic, they found the whole turbo damaged and to be replaced. At mechanic for 3-4 weeks. A month later there was a blowing noise, took it back to mechanic where they said a clip had broken off the intercooler system, replaced and OK for now. Also had the next years service in May 2025 and battery replaced.

It has been a nightmare, have only driven it about 2,000 klms over the last 18 months, 7-8 trips to mechanics, two tow truck rides, inconvenience, hire car costs and a feeling of "what's going to happen next"!

Overall, I'm out of pocket over AUD$10,000 since I bought this car and will never get my money back in resell value. NOT HAPPY!
