I took the car to the panel beaters to replace the driver door after a hit and run and then they tried to give it back to me with the airbag light on. I wouldn't accept it so they took it to ford who then said it is because of a faulty switch under the passenger seat. They said it was not related to the accident and not covered by warranty and they wanted $2200 to fix the problem. I am currently following this up with the insurance company. I don't know if this is the panel beaters negligence or if it is a manufacturing defect.
