The contact owns a 2017 Ford Mustang. The contact stated when the HVAC system was engaged to clear the windshield due to overnight condensation, the HVAC system failed to operate as designed and the windshield was not cleared. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact also noted that the air conditioning system was inoperable. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the evaporator and compressor needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.

The 2015-17 all have the same issue with the ac system as a whole, it is very faulty and not safe. This is due to a manufacturing defect. The ac constantly blows hot air even when on cold and only on to the windshield which causes visibility issues which could be fatal for me or anyone on the road. I went to ford yesterday to ask about the issue which I was told -??we only have one person today that can look at it-?? and was later told that he wouldn-??t take a look, without any reasoning. I had to go to a different company to get my car diagnosed. As I stated before this is a occurring issue with the year make and model of my vehicle.
