-?? Std Cruise Control failure. Yes, available for inspection, test drive and failure analysis. -?? Upon turning CC (Cruise control) on the Green Icon appears (should be Ghost Icon) AND is set at the speed limit. If below the speed limit NO speed up to "SET" speed occurs. Instead if you speed up, manually, to "SET" speed you can't go past the "SET" speed. Pressing on the accelerator has a power loss and flat lining. Speed does not increase until you go to heavy open throttle then it "TAKES OFF". Impossible to drive in Cruise control mode. -?? Problem was presented to Gaudin Ford Dealership >>> Twice. Once on December 17th, 2024 and again on March 4th, 2025 Gaudio Ford States " NPF - No problem found normal operation at this time". Also, "unable to duplicate concern no DTC were present no tabs or scams for this concern rise with shop foremen all systems are working with spec at this time". Back on Dec 17th, 2024 Reported "Checked Oasis found SSM 53160. Per SSM they will be an update available at first quarter of 2025. Recommend returning when update is available ". -?? I was driving home from work at approximately 65mph when my transmission shifted and slammed back into gear. I stopped in a safe location, cut the car off and then back on, but the transmission is still slipping. The dealership was notified of powertrain, electrical, and oil consumption issues at three different service appointments, but the manufacturer has been no help at all. Had I not known what to do, this could have been a completely different scenario.

From a stop at a traffic light on [XXX], I made a right turn from [XXX] onto [XXX] in Greensboro NC, and after turning, the car did not respond when I pressed on the accelerator so as to go with the traffic. Instead, the car gradually slowed down. Before the car rolled to a stop in the middle of the road, the engine caught on and the car speeded up normally. The risk is that I would become stopped in the middle of a busy road and that someone rear end into me. If this problem were to occur as I was entering onto an interstate highway, where traffic routinely moves along at 70 mph and more, it would not be good. I took my car to Green Ford, the local dealership, on July 9, 2024. They found a defective battery (which was replaced under the car's warranty), and the dealership said the problems (accelerator and also brakes) were likely caused by a defective battery. (At the same visit the dealership also examined my brakes, which had failed, and which I am describing in a separate incident report). The accelerator problem occurred again on [XXX] when I pulled out of my apartment parking lot onto [XXX], and after turning onto [XXX], the car gradually started to slow down, and would have come to a stop. I pushed on the accelerator repeatedly and the car, before stopping, got up to speed (the speed limit is 35 mph on [XXX] ). The next day, on October 8, 2024, at the Green Ford dealership, the dealership could find nothing wrong with the car. On [XXX], on the way downtown (to the Ford Dealership) I experienced the accelerator problem several tines. The dealership did not examine the car again, but advised me to keep detailed notes for a week and after a week report back to them..
