Same truck as before, different problem. if you drive the truck to operating temperature, then stop at a red light, with turn signal on, the temperature gauge pulsates with the voltage jump that causes the turn signal to blink. Thump the dash pretty well, and it drops back to operating temperature... for about two seconds. I'm fairly sure there is a short in the dash cluster, which leads me to the conclusion that some wires in this vehicle are loose/disconnected/worn through the insulation. Please, check your dash cluster if your truck is registering overheat. I can put my hands on the radiator cap and keep them there when it does this.
