My Ford Ranger supercab has electric door locks. For the past several months, the passenger door's lock has begun being intermittent about opening with the lock/unlock buttons on the two doors. Now it will neither open or close with the buttons most of the time. Recently, even the driver's door lock has begun this symptom of not opening or closing. Must use the key to unlock the door. Very inconvenient. If there is a problem where someone needed to escape the vehicle quickly, such as a fire or other accident, you have to fumble to try an pull up on the lock button, sticking through the door liner.
