The brake lights don't turn on while pushing the brakes - instead they turn on only while releasing the brakes. This is a big problem, as I have have almost been rear ended because of this. A guy behind me had to swerve off the road into an intersection to miss me. I have replaced the brake light switch, rear brake cylinders and bleed the whole system, but to no avail.

Same as above: my brakes would be really touchy whenever it was rainy, foggy, humid, etc. Even going from parked to just starting out the first time I'd hit the brakes, they grabbed really hard. I learned to work with it until someone totaled my truck. Would have liked to have found out if water in the wheel well was the problem. Miss my truck in spite of it's problems!

the brakes on the truck are the only thing that bother front and back. it is a constant problem that i been dealing with since i purchased the ranger. went ford when under warrenty and got the bs answers. just left to deal with it and to pay out of pocket at ford

Water leaks into wheel wells causing breaks to become extremely sensitive at low speeds. Many mechanics have stated this is a known problem but besides sealing the wheel wells there is not much you can do about it

Brakes replaced, rotors new, abs not working properly. just getting a run around. the wire for the ABS was replaced and the brakes still don't work the way they are supposed to. Feels like the brakes are sticking when I back out of the driveway.
