The contact owns a 2006 Ford Ranger. The contact stated that the driver side window failed to manually open or close. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the crank and timing gear needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 15V322000 (air bags) and 16V036000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issues. The contact had not experienced a failure. The failure mileage was 50,000.
