problem #1

Dec 232006

Ranger 4-cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 24 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Ford Ranger. While driving at any speed, the passenger and driver's side doors rattle and shake as if something was loose. The contact often holds his leg against the door to lessen the noise. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. In addition, the tailgate handle is made of metal, coated with plastic and has levers on both sides. The driver's side lever detached because the leverage was unevenly distributed. The current mileage was 22,000 and failure mileage was 24. Updated 10/16/08 the consumer stated the dealer fixed the problem. Updated 10/20/08.
