The contact owns a 2007 Ford Ranger. While driving 65 mph the passenger front wheel bent inwards without warnings. Consequently he lost vehicle control, and was struck by a semi-trailer. The vehicle was completely destroyed. Upon further inspection a technician concluded that the control arm failed. The insurance company was in the process of investigating the cause of the failure. A police report was available. The failure and current mileages were 28,000.
