From day one every time I would engage the clutch it would make a squeaking or swishing noise, i'd expect this from 200,000 kl but not a new machine! It took three trips to the dealer and new clutch and pressure plate to fix it. According to the mechanic this is a common problem with the 08 ranger. It's been a month or so since and so far so good.
