Takata airbag recall. I contacted scenic Ford dealership in my area for the repair of the airbag. I was told that the parts where not available for the repairs and they had no idea when they would have the parts. It is my understanding that there is a risk for injury or death if the airbag were to rupture or inflate. The recall began in June, 2016 and parts are still not available? I am at unease driving my vehicle knowing I am at risk. I would like the repairs completed asap.

Takata recall: I received a letter from Ford over a year ago notifying me of a recall. I have taken my vehicle to several dealers and have called numerous times since getting notice and have been told they don't have the parts in stock and that I would be notified once they get the parts. I feel that Ford is dragging their feet.

Takata recall. Received recall notification letter dated July, 2016. Have received no further communication. Rather than drive a ticking time bomb, I decided to sell the vehicle. Local Ford dealer refused to quote a price offer for said vehicle. Cheaper for Ford Motor Company to pay injury or death claims than do the right thing?
