Takata inflators. Despite my being notified that Ford would replace airbag(s) through my local dealership, and despite my repeated calls to my local dealership, where I bought the vehicle, there has been zero response. Dealership says it has been waiting for parts, ie, defective airbag replacements, since last quarter, which is when Ford apparently told dealership they would get them. Dealership has not gotten any airbag replacements for my Ranger. People have died. People are continuing to die. This is unacceptable. This airbag that is killing people must be fixed by Ford asap.

"takata recall" for our Ford Ranger has yet to be taken care of. The Ford dealerships do not have a date to replace the recalled airbags by takata. We were notified in July 2016 of the recall and have called the dealership many times and they still do not have a dtae when they will replace the vehicle air bag.

Takata recall. I was notified that the passenger side airbag had been recalled in early 2017 and to date (12-23-17) the Ford dealerships have been unable to replace the potentially defective part because they do not have replacement parts and do not know when they will get them.

Takata recall July 2016 I receive a letter from Ford stating there is a recall on my truck and parts to fix will be available shortly. Now 18 months later I receive another letter stating parts may be available in the spring 2018. The letter states "do not allow anyone to sit in the first row passenger seat." I contacted the number in the letter and informed them I do not feel safe driving my 2008 Ranger that is similar to the gentleman's truck who died after striking a cow in South Carolina. I was told there is nothing Ford can do. No loaner is available, and if something happened to me while driving Ford would investigate and "take care of it." So if I die they write a check" how much is one human life going for these days? when will you put pressure of Ford to expedite these repairs or provide loaners" I have now lost the use of half of my truck. I cannot let my children, my spouse, my pets, or even my backpack ride in my passenger seat.
