"takata recall" - I received a letter dated July 2016 informing me of this recall. I have contacted the Ford dealer ship several times asking when this was going to be fixed and was told that it probably never would be. I went to Ford.com and did a chat with an agent that fed me canned responses that told me there were issues finding a supplier to make the parts and there was no where to escalate the issue and I would receive a letter in the mail when parts were received. I am very concerned by Ford negligence in dealing with this recall. How can they send me a letter saying if I am in an accident my airbag may kill me and not do anything for a year and a half to resolve the issue. How can I get help in getting this recall completed?

**takata recall** this is to follow up on the complaint I filed a year ago (complaint #10955487) regarding Ford's inability/refusal to replace my takata airbag pursuant to an active recall notice I received 6/1/2016. I checked with my local Ford dealer, who indicated to me Ford still doesn't have replacement airbags. This is unacceptable!!!! a year and a half later, and still no compliance" the value of my vehicle is affected, not to mention my safety. Maybe if I name NHTSA as a defendant in a lawsuit, they'll finally put the screws to Ford??"

Takata recall - Ford notified me by mail in July 2016 that the passenger frontal airbag inflator might be defective and that Ford would notify me via mail when parts are available to replace the defective airbag inflator. I telephoned Ford on June 8, 2017 at (800) 392-3673 to inquire about getting the airbag inflator replaced sinice I had not yet received notification from Ford. I was told that no parts were available yet. I received a notification from Ford on October 28, 2017 that Ford wanted to replace the driver airbag inflator as part of a voluntary research program. I have not yet responded to this request. However, Ford still has not notified me to replace the original identified passenger airbag inflator.

"takata recall" I have called different dealerships (some more than once) and nobody can ever give me any answers only that they know that there is a recall but they don't have any in stock and they don't know when they will get them in. And it has been over a year and now that they have filed for bankruptcy it sounds like they will not be responsible for anything that happens now. It has been way too long there should be a remedy by now. Please let me know what my next step is. Thank you very much [xxx] and [xxx] [xxx] [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).'

I just found out that there has been a safety recall on my truck concerning the front passenger air bag since 2016 yet I have yet to receive any notice from Ford about the recall. After doing some online investigation, found this is a valid recall. I only learned about the recall when I was sent a notice about a class-action lawsuit which could include my situation. I have never received any notice from Ford concerning this issue and if I look for an immediate fix, they say that one is not available yet"? if this is really such a serious issue w/ faulty air bags, why has it taken so long for a viable solution to yet be announced"

"takata recall" 17S01 this complaint is not inregards to an accident that has happened but the lack of action by Ford Motor Company and tk holdings Inc to timely replace a defective airbag inflator. I rcvd a letter from Ford Motor Co on 3-6-17 stating I will be sent a letter to inform me when parts are available and to contact my dealer to schedule a repair. Being tired of waiting to be informed by Ford Motor Co, I called my dealer for more information, or to see if they have any parts. I was told they do not have parts. I asked the dealer representative if they had replaced airbag inflators on similar vehicles, and they stated that they had. My complaint is that I'm tired of waiting for this part to be replaced. I want it replaced immediately. I don't have time to wait until some other vehicle hits my vehicle causing the airbag to deploy, simmultaneously throwing metal fragments into the cabin and killing or injuring me or my family. I am 59 years old and I have a lifetime accident free driving record. I also received a flyer notice from tk holdings Inc. During the first week in November 2017 claiming that if I don't register my email address with them at tkrestructuring.com/ppic' by December 27, 2017 that they may be discharged from " all indebtedness and liability with respect to such a claim. How much time do I have to keep spending to get this problem fixed?
