I own a 2010 Ford Ranger with a 2.3L engine with auto trans, I noticed this vibration slightly when I bought the truck but hoped it would go away since the truck had not been broken in, but NOT, after 3 months and 3800 miles it is still there not only it is there but it is to the point that the vehicle is not driveable for any long period of time because the vibration is to much, on your hands, if driven for more that an hour your hands get numb or go to sleep and they will hurt if your continue, it got to the point when I was driving an 8 hour trip the only way I could drive the vehicle was to grab steering wheel with one hand only and switch hands every twenty or thirty minutes so my hands would not hurt so much for being numb.
I have taken this problem to the dealership twice so far and they say they can not find anything wrong, I have been a diehard Ford customer for about 30 years, in the last 10 years I have purchased 4 brand new vehicles from Ford without a single problem, well after my experience with this vehicle when your hands go numb while driving THAT is a SAFETY hazard. And thinking it might be me I gave the truck to drive on the trip to my wife and she also lost her feeling in her hands so she is very upset with the ford dealer and ford for not taking responsability for the problem. I have contacted Ford with NO response, and I will take the truck to the dealership 2 more times before I start the Lemon Law process, and I will contact everyone I can BBB, NHTSA, Attorney General of Texas, and whoever else I need to contact. This will be right, I should not have to go to this pain for a brand new vehicle, the ford dealership and ford should be responsable for there products.

My dad has a Ford Ranger and we are currently filing for the Lemon Law. This vehicle has had a vibration since it was purchased. The dealership and other mechanics have found there is a vibration. Ford has admitted there is a vibration but they all say there is no solution. I say if you have this problem, file for the lemon law, it is time consuming and repetitive, but Ford needs to know it's loyal customers will not put up with this. This is the 3rd Ford Ranger my father has owned. Too bad they don't care about their customers.
