I have a 1999 Ford Taurus. The front seat passenger seat belt has recently locked and is unfunctional. I looked up on your recall list to search and found that there was a recall id 99V250000. I contacted Ford Motor Company at the number you provided 1-800-392-3573. I was told that your site generalizes makes and models and that my car was not part of the recall. They opened a case under #401980970 ; however, said they would not fix my car.

There is a NHTSA recall, # 99V250000 regarding the seatbelts front: Anchorage. The vehicle has the same problems as indicated in the recall; however it is not included in the recall due to the VIN.
