The check engine light came on. Took the car in and had it put on a computer only to find that the problem was that the gas cap was on wrong. When the technician checked the cap he found a crack in the neck and said that the neck would have to be replaced. I was the third person he had seen with this problem in the last month. If I didn't fix the problem the light would come back on and then I would not know if there was another problem with the engine down the road. This boggles my mind. How does this neck get cracked? It's not like it sees a lot of abuse.
