Consumer states a raccoon ran across the road in front of his vehicle, and struck the front bumper, the bumper being constructed of a flexible plastic deflected so far that the pointed end of a screw, which is part of the bumper assembly, struck and punctured the power steering cooler assembly, which led to the loss of power steering fluid and consequently to the complete loss of power steering assist, consumer stated the bumper assembly did not perform as its intended purpose.
