The contact owns a 2001 Ford Taurus. While driving 50 mph, the rear coil spring failed and caused the vehicle to sway left and right. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic and they stated that both rear coil springs and shock absorbers needed to be replaced. The repair would cost $350. The failure and current mileages were 88,000. Updated 03-28-08
