With tranny cold, will not shift into o/d for at least 5 miles. Service manager could not explain why! After 11 years still the same! (See fuel mileage complaint)

Taurus SES

  • 34,500 miles

At first all Ford did was change a filter and replace the tran. fluid. But than the trouble light came back on and now the talk is to replace the tran. It seems the transmission never goes into overdrive.
