Taurus SES 3.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 118,000 miles

I have owned my 2003 Ford Taurus for about a year and the trans-axle light flashes after I drive about 5 to 10 miles. It then turns off when I shut the car off. It won't start again until I drive about 5 more miles. I don't have the money to have any repair bills so I just don't drive it out of town or for any long distances. Now I have to sell it and afraid I can't be honest because of the problem. Probably going to lose quite a bit of money on the deal.
