The contact stated while driving at 55 mph her hood flew up and broke the windshield. This happened without warning. She was able to get vehicle off the road. It was towed to a wrecking yard, and someone would pick it up the next day. Dealer said there was nothing they could do because it was a used car, and to call the manufacturer, who has not been contacted yet. The police came and a report was taken.
