Taurus SES 3.0L Ohv

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,414 miles

It started with the Engine Light or Emission Control Light coming on. I took it to PEPBOYS. They told me to take it to the Dealership. The Dealership told me it was the Powertrain Control Module. They replaced the old software and put new in. I took it back to PEPBOYS because I knew there was a small leak again somewhere. I was told today it was the Intake Manifold Gasket along with many other things that needed to be done or cleaned, etc.., This is among a multitude of problems with this car. The large amount of problems started around March, 2010, with 68,915 miles on it. The Dealership where I bought this used car with 19,000 miles on it refused to fix it for me. They mentioned that I already put alot of money into it & I took it to other places to be fixed. I left frustrated and very sad. It's almost 2012 & I still have the vehicle. I've put out tons of money for repairs. Unbelieveable! Barbara Michigan

I really like the Taurus but I am having another problem now. The oil leak was bad enough, now I have another fluid leak, goodness.
