Taurus SES 3.0L V6

The brake lights stayed on and wouldn't shut off. It drained my battery. The VIN was not included in the Ford recall (04S12). Replaced brake light switch and issue was resolved.

Update from Jul 21, 2014: reported to NHTSA...please delete complaint
