When sitting at a red light the engine surges 100-200 RPMs. This causes the car to lurch forward since it has an automatic transmission. The issue goes away if I turn on the air conditioner. From what I have been able to find out from researching the issue, it may be due to a hole in a vacuum hose. The biggest issue is that I cannot find any place selling a replacement hose. There are plenty of places selling the valves but none selling the hose. This problem may also be related to the air conditioner no longer blowing out of the face grills and only blowing out of the defrost grills which has been causing condensation on the windshield.
