There is a serious flaw with the material that Ford chose to use for the windshield washer fluid tubing that runs from the hood down to the passenger side strut where it runs to the washer fluid reservoir and pump. They used a hard plastic tubing that becomes brittle in the winter and cracks or snaps easily. This results in the tubing needing to be replaced every 1-3 years for people that live in climates with cold temperatures. Thankfully the tubing is not very expensive and so far has been readily available, but I never had this issue with Suzuki or Kia vehicles. They use a softer tubing that remains soft in the winter.
