Only had this car maybe 5 years? Clearcoat completely worn off after only a few HAND washes. I never use a rough rag, or sponge, only soft cloth to wash it and special protective soaps. I try to keep it clean, once per month in summer, and once per week in winter (to keep salt from eating away at it) didnt seem to protect it very well. even waxed it once. Is this a bad thing or is the clearcoat just that thin/cheap? Also paint getting bubbly, (metal rusting under paint) metal body rotting out very fast. <p>I predict the cars body will fall apart well before it hits 20 years old. Parked it in a garage for the first 7 years of ownership too. However it is outside parked for 8 hours a day, 6 days a week while Im at work :P
