???????????????????love the SHO
Anybody else have this happen? What is the fix short of buying a new key fob?

I took the car back to the dealer and after a day playing around with it the y could not program none of my two IA key. They had to send for a new programed key. Three months later I am still waiting. The last thing is two more weeks. Not sure if it is the dealer or Ford themselves. I have other complaint which I'll post separately.

I CALLED EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE. THEY DID NOT LISTEN TO ME NOR DID THEY COMMUNICATE WELL WITH THE TOW TRUCK SERVICE. I TOLD ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE THAT I OWNED A TAURUS SHO AND GAVE THEM MY VIN #. THE FIRST TRUCK THEY SENT COULD NOT HANDLE A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CAR. THE SECOND TRUCK THEY SENT COULD NOT HANDLE A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CAR. ON THE THIRD TRY THEY FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT. YOUR ROADSIDE SERVICE PEOPLE NEED TO BE BETTER TRAINED. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME MY CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 07/22/10, 11/10/10, AND 11/17/10. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
KEYLESS IS A NICE FEATURE BUT THERE MUST BE SOME BACK UP FOR THE CUSTOMER TO START IT WITH A KEY.

Frequently doesn't recognize key fobs. I've had to restart several times to get rid of "key not detected" msg.
