Ford has a recall on certain Taurus fuel pump driver modules, but of course not on my 2014 Ford Taurus. My problem is that there was no warning whatsoever of this module going bad. The car just shut off while I was driving and if the problem would have happened 5 minutes earlier, I would have been on the interstate going 70 miles an hour, and would have lost control of my steering with no warning whatsoever which could have been a major accident resulting in somebody's death - mainly mine.

How can Ford recall only certain fuel driver modules but not all. To add insult, I told the Bo BEUCKMAN FORD actually what was wrong with the car and still they had to go through their ritual of testing, and charge me 2 hours labor or $298 for a 15 minute install of a new module. I NEED YOU TO ADD THIS REPORT TO OTHER FORD DRIVERS WHO HAVE HAD A BAD FUEL PUMP DRIVER MODULE.
