Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to kerry Ford, Inc (155 w kemper rd, cincinnati, oh 45246) where they replaced the battery. Less then two weeks later, the contact stated that the vehicle stalled while driving at a low rate of speed, without warning. The vehicle would not restart after the failure and the contact had the vehicle towed back to the dealer. They then diagnosed the vehicle with a defective fuel pump. The fuel pump was replaced. Upon research, the contact linked his failure to NHTSA campaign number: 16V621000 (fuel system, gasoline). The contact notified the manufacturer who informed him that his vehicle was not included in the recall. The manufacturer offered no further assistance. The vehicle had been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
