My brother was making a left turn at the intersection of 170th street.He had been traveling north on Torrence avenue in Lansing prior to the collision. He had come to a complete stop while waiting to safely complete a left turn to travel west on 170th street. As he proceeded through the intersection at 170th & Torrence avenue, a southbound vehicle ran through the stop signal and collided with the 2014 Taurus vehicle, my brother was driving.After the contact the air bags in the 2014 ford Taurus did not deploy and the 2014 ford Taurus had spun around facing south, when it came to a complete stop

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Taurus. While driving approximately 40 mph, a small dog jumped in front of the vehicle and the driver side air bag deployed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the driver side air bag was replaced. On another occasion, a coyote jumped in front of the vehicle and the driver side air bag deployed again. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the driver side are bag was replaced a second time. The contact was concerned that the air bag could deploy after another slight impact and potentially cause injuries. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 17,000.

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Taurus. While driving approximately 68 mph, the air bag warning indicator illuminated continuously. The contact restarted the vehicle and the engine warning indicator illuminated and the driver side headlamp failed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the line leading to the fuel pump needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 87,999.

Vehicle hydroplaned and hit the guard rail alot of front end damage no air bag deployment. Injuries including a head injury both occupants were transported to a hospital. Update 9/15/15 the consumer stated the air bag sensor wasn't triggered and wants to cancel the complaint. Updated 10/01/15
