Ford needs to investigate the durability of the front windshield on the 2014 model Taurus. I own two 2014 Taurus and within the first 6months of ownership, I have had to replace the windshields on both vehicles. Both vehs were hit in the same spot opposite sides with a rock and a cracked formed from one side to other within 4hrs of the incident. Each time we were traveling no more that 40/45 mph due to moderate traffic. Both windshields costing me $600 out of pocket. I have owned other model Ford vehicles(07 Ford 500 and 1998 Explorer) that have withstood plenty of rocks at the windshield and not one chip or crack.
