Was driving my 2014 Ford Taurus, slowed down to merge from one interstate to another when all of a sudden, there is loud boom over my head like a bolder has hit the top of my car. Didn't see anyone around on foot. Nothing bounced off my car. No one around me pulled off to side like they were hit in case something did bounce off. After a few seconds, I hear this crackling all around my roof. I pull the inside cover back and see my glass is completely shattered and pieces are missing out. Glass is pointing up, like what happened came from inside the car not outside. I thought at first maybe a rock had hit it but there was no evidence of that. Don't know what to make of this...my local dealership is saying of course they've never heard of this problem....I do have a picture.
