The contact owned a 2015 Ford Taurus. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the battery was cracked, which caused wires to corrode in the engine. The vehicle was towed to fairway Ford Inc (444 us-117, burgaw, nc 28425, (800) 291-7714) and was repaired. The contact mentioned that the same failure occurred on another vehicle of the same year, make, and mode that he previously owned. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. The VIN was unknown.
