Taurus Limited 3.2L V6

Steering warning came on in the dash and the power steering stopped working as I was passing another vehicle. The power steering did not work until the following day. The warning light came on a couple more times but corrected itself after I turned the switch off and on again. The ford dealership said they called the Ford Company and was told, if it was working, there was no fix.
