This is a company vehicle and our drivers depend on these vans to get to their job site and do their job. With less than 5000 miles on this van, a sudden loss of power was unexpected and could have been very dangerous driving on a California freeway. While it was an inconvenience having to take the van in for a diagnosis and repair, the Ford Dealer I worked with was very accommodating and helpful; they arranged to pick up the van at the driver's home, diagnosed it as a body throttle failure, and repaired it in a couple of days, then shuttled him back to the shop to get it when finished. There was no charge as the van was still under warranty. About a month later, the same exact issue occurred with another 2016 Transit we have in our fleet. This time we knew exactly what the problem was!

This van is 3 months old and could just quit on me at any time, leave me drifting to a stop anywhere and it is a known problem. Where is consumer protection? I feel duped by Ford and the dealership!
