We have a vehicle fleet of 40+ vehicles. In the last two months, we have had to replace a FOUR evaporator coil assemblies. I believe this is an indication of a factory issues that was never caught.

Vehicle rear camera has failed for the second time. Had it inspected at dealer and was told it was corrosion of wires, same as first time. Transit forums show it's a common problem. I don't want to back into/over anyone or run into something like my boat trailer which I did when it failed backing up and now have a large dent in the left rear door. Wire harness cost quoted at $450. There is obviously an issue. Thank you.

Hello, our Ford Transit Family van has been under the recalls: 19S38 and 19V-767. Hello, our Ford Transit Family van has been under the recalls: 19S38 and 19V-767. We have been on touch with multiple dealerships who are unable to repair the issue due to (as they say) lack of parts. We have been waiting since October. The issue says we should stop driving our car yet for our family of seven it-??s the only vehicle and there seems to be little accountability on the side of Ford. Where could we make this noted? Thank you in advance and have a great day. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The vehicle experienced a breakdown due to the drive train coupler failed, a part that has an active recall notice (Ford 19S38 ) (NHTSA Safety recall 17V-408) and the failure of the recalled part caused significant damage to other mechanical parts of the vehicle. The Manufacturer has agreed to pay for the recalled part but not the peripheral damaged parts. The damage is significant. The day of the incident, I received a recall notice from the manufacturer in the mail. The recall notice is dated October 2023. The manufacturer should be liable for the recalled part as well as the peripheral damaged that it caused.

Van experiences loud harmonic vibration that occurs from about 40-55 mph. The vibrations remained after all tires and wheels have been replaced and balanced. This "loud cycling hum" can be heard over radio and talking. Faster speeds it does subside above 60mph which encourages speeding to not have the noise throughout the interior of the van. This is an on going issue that has been noticed since purchase in Dec of 2018.

While accelerating on to a highway my gas pedal broke leaving me in danger of a vehicle colliding into the rear of my vehicle. The pedal is made of plastic.

The interior lights and navagation/radio system will not turn off. The door switch is faulty according to the dealership. The vehicle was assembled at the valencia final assembly plant. There are recalls for other Ford Transit vehicles for failing door switches. I am concerned for simular failures with the door switch allowing the door to open and also a possible electrical fire caused by the malfunctioning navigation/radio and interior lighting system not turning off while the vehicle is stationary.

This is the second time our gas pedal has snapped and broke off when taking off/ accelerating. It has also seemed to develop some sort of stutter/bog/hesitation that seems to be linked with the communication from the gas pedal to the computer. Sometimes we will go ahead and pull on out into traffic and accelerate to get up to speed and the van will basically feel like it's stuttering/ hesitating and we give it further throttle with the gas peddle, then it will finally engage and seems to drop down several gears and slam/thrust forward. We have contacted our local Ford dealer mountain view Ford of chattanooga tn and they have yet to correct or repair this problem. Our van is still covered under factory warranty. We have had to source the replacement part from a junk yard both times in order to use our vehicle which had to be towed off the roadway. The gas pedal assembly is made of plastic and has no back stop to stop the suspended gas pedal from bottoming out once it's at full acceleration. I have read online this has happened to others dealing with this same issue. The problem is going to be we're going to be merging on to interstate and it's going to brake and leave us stranded in the middle of the freeway with oncomi ng traffic and no way to get out of the way.

I work for nestle and we have a 2107 Ford Transit van. First the van said to replace exhaust filter even though it was brand new. The smell coming from the vents was so powerful they made me nauseate and light headed. The smell was so string it stuck onto my clothes. Til this day they still have not been able to find the cause or fix the problem. But now reading that other vehicles had the same issue I know now that I'm not crazy or making this up.
