I have been without my 2012 transit for almost 3 months now. I bought it brand new and always maintained it. One day all trouble lights and heater motor stayed on even with key out of ignition, so I brought it to the dealership where after some time they figured it out. Some how wiring harness had some how fused together. Whether damaged upon installation or heater resister caused it they're not sure but one thing they're sure of is the cost to be around $2500.00 or more .
The truck is just over a year old, I can't believe the main wiring harness is not covered under drive train or emission warranty. I need help or answers from Ford. I own 2 of these Transits and am looking at a new 2014. Not sure if i should continue my relationship with Ford. They can't even get a harness, it's coming from overseas, 3 months and counting. I will let people know how this is handled
