Transit Connect XLT 4 cyl

My 7 month old 2012 Ford Transit Connect XLT dropped out of Drive while driving appx. 25 mph. Dealer could not duplicate, no code in computer. Service manager told me they can not work on a vehicle unless there is a code in the computer.
