When emergency brake is on, vehicle can be driven before emergency brake is released. The rear brakes will not hold, they seem to wear out first.

Parking brake will not hold vehicle. Dealer (westlie Ford, camas wa) would not adjust it. I was told that the parking is not intended to hold the vehicle. It is only there to assist the "park" setting on the transmission! if the brake is not truly adjustable, then this is a design flaw.

While parked on a hill with emergency parking brake activated. About 10 minutes later, vehicle rolled away, almost ran over the occupant and crashed into a parked car. Dealer cannot determine problem.
