i took my car to ford garage and they told me it was ok. But it was not .When ford was buying cars back that were in bad shape they ended up fixing it when they had to replace the axel .. I do not trust the ford garage any more.I think i would have done better if I had gone to a small garage.

I think that if there is a recall on the rear axle and subframe, you'd think they'd recall the front part of the steering etc. It's all rusted and even though they said there was nothing wrong with our subframe, the way it drives tells me differently. We don't have the money to keep up with the constant repairs of "stuff" that keeps going out on our van. We can unlock by remote, the driver's door and the left passenger door, you can't open from the outside and sometimes from the inside either as well as the right passenger door. The locks don't come up like they are suppose to when you unlock the doors. It seems it's one thing after the other. Including the ABS light and the constant Engine light being on. AND our cruise control hasn't been working since before the recall on it, b/c it would automatically kick in, while I'm driving in town at 25-35 mph. This is rediculous.

The subframe on my van is totally gone and in order to get it fixed ford said that I had to [ay for it. Its not like I decided to go underneath my van and remove the thing. They didn't do a very good job in building it and now they don't want to take responsibility for the fact that their product is no good. They need to fix it and then they need to put it under warranty. For those that are without a vehicle because of this crap they need to reimburse us for any out of pocket money that we had to spend to get from point a to points b, c, d and so forth.

did the ford recall for the subframe rotting in buffalo, ny on march of 2011, parts were not available at that time, so i was notified that the parts were in in may 2012, but unfortunately I had been moving to Texas at that time and could not return to dealer in buffalo, ny. Went to dealership here for a previous tranny problem, and the dealer told me there was no recalls open on my vehicle and ford would not pay for the repairs, so there was nothing they could do for me, after much discussion w/ the tech about how there was an open recall, the tech told me this sounded to complicated for them to research so there was nothing they could do, but they did advise me that the sub frame was rotted and the vehicle would be unsafe to drive, after looking over the paperwork, it appears they did record the wrong vin number and didn't take the time to check this out after I stood there arguing about the recall, I can't believe the sub standard service provided by this dealership and would not recommend them to anyone
