Our 2000 Ford Windstar was purchase used last month on august from a family friend. We new it was nothing fancy, and was fairly old. So we knew that there were going to be some kinks that needed to be worked out. WELL OH MY GOODNESS!!! On the way to my college class, The O/D Light came on. going about 60mph. Then I had to stop at the train tracks. LORD JESUS HAVE MERCY!! The van started to have spasms!! The Engine started to idle HORRIBLY, the engine felt like it was going to quite, While the RPM Meter was literally bouncing back and forth, the engine light was on, as well as the O/D Light, and the Battery light started to flash. SCARY Stuff on the middle of the highway. So I through the van into Park and it stabilized just for a few moments. Needless to say I am wanting some reasons why this van is acting like this!! FORD IS NOTHING BUT CRAP BASED ON THIS VANS PERFORMANCE!!!

Started as a small vibration with a low hum. Sound grew to a loud rumbling with an increased amount of vibration. Starts about 25 mph and grows steadily louder with speed. Sound does not change turning left or right. Had my tires rotated and balanced with no change. This is a shame since my trans shifts fine and the engine is strong. Cant afford to let a dealership troubleshoot the problem.
