The door does not bounce back. My 2 year old daughter and myself got caught in the door while it was trying to close. My five year old had to push the button. I took the car to the manufacturer and they tested the door and said it was working fine. They said that is how the car is made. You have to have to put a lot force on the door in order for it to bounce back. There is no way to adjust the censors. There 2003 van requires even more pressure than mine. How is a 2 year old child suppose to apply a lot of pressure.
